Fashion Show 2005 - Fashion Fugitive ... ON THE RUNWAY

 About the Show

The Fashion Design students will present their original creations in eight different categories: swimminwear, sportswear, unique boutique, career sportswear, historic garments, club wear, evening wear, and a special category created to fit the awards show theme called, "Era of Elegance". Era of Elegance captures the beauty of fashion in the early 1940's. As well as featuring unique fashions, the fashion show production class will entertain the audience with dance performances by CSU Fullerton's dance team, "Team Millennia". The performance will feature a live disc jokey and the opening act will be a riveting skit of the famous fugitives, "Bonnie and Clyde". Pamela Knights, LBCC Fashion Design Program director, stated, "We would like the show to exude the elegance and jazz music for the 1940's with a touch of naughtiness, by implying the presence of Bonnie and Clyde."

Professionals from the fashion industry will judge students' entries. Winners will receive the Golden French Curve Design Award and fashion industry donated scholarships.
