| Fashion Show 2006 - Candyland |

| About the Show |
Bringing the sugar and spice of fashion...to life. The fashion design students will present their imaginative creations in seven different categories: swimwear, sportswear, California denim dressing, day dresses, after five, eveningwear and a special category called "Candyland", which features designs inspired by the characters of the popular board game. As well as featuring unique fashions, the fashion show production class will entertain the audience with dance performances by "Is'x" and the Hall of Fame dance troops of Los Angeles.
Pamela Knights, LBCC Fashion Design Program director, said, "Imagine a world so sweet that cotton candy trees and lollipop flowers surround you. The LBCC fashion program students will transform the auditorium into a magical Candyland. The fashions are colorful and animated, and as always, a little edgy."
Professionals from the fashion industry will judge students' entries. Winners will receive the Golden French Curve Design Award and fashion industry donated scholarships.
